Opening of the Annual Exhibition of Design Students’ Projects at the College of Fine Arts, Marked by Notable Student Attendance
The Dean of the College of Fine Arts at the University of Baghdad, Dr. Mudad Ajeel Al-Asadi, inaugurated the annual exhibition showcasing the graduation projects of final-year students from the Department of Design / Textile and Fashion Branch. The event was held under the supervision of the department head, Dr. Moataz Enad, and faculty member Prof. Dr. Hind Mohammed, and witnessed a significant turnout of students. The exhibition featured a diverse array of graduation projects that reflected the students’ outstanding efforts in the field of fashion design. These projects incorporated a wide range of techniques and applications, including both handcrafted and digital work, as well as mechanical applications aimed at serving production needs and community services. The showcased works focused on enhancing both the functional and aesthetic aspects of textile designs, with particular attention to the concepts of innovation and sustainability in the design process. The students demonstrated a high level of creativity and precision in presenting and executing their ideas. The projects received widespread praise from Dean Dr. Mudad Al-Asadi, who commended the fresh perspectives and innovative design approaches introduced by the students. He emphasized the significance of such projects in contributing to and advancing the commercial and creative sectors.
