“Lala”: An Art Exhibition Bringing Together Printmaking, Painting, and Sculpture in a Creative Experience by a College of Fine Arts Student
In an artistic experience that combines diverse materials and multiple forms of visual expression, Saleh Al-Hassan, a fourth-year student in the Graphic Arts Branch of the Department of Fine Arts at the College of Fine Arts, held his art exhibition entitled “Lala” on Thursday, October 1, at Tarkib House.
The exhibition featured a collection of artworks spanning printmaking, painting, and sculpture, offering a visual experience that explores the possibilities of artistic expression through various techniques and media. It also highlighted the young artist’s ability to move between different artistic approaches within a single creative space.
The exhibition reflected an important aspect of the academic and artistic experiences undertaken by Fine Arts students, demonstrating how ideas and concepts can be transformed into tangible artworks through imagery, composition, and materials. Furthermore, it provided an opportunity for the public to explore students’ artistic achievements and engage with their creative experiences beyond the classroom.
In this context, the exhibition aligns with the vision and objectives of the Deanship of the College of Fine Arts and the leadership of the Department of Fine Arts in supporting students, encouraging them to showcase their creative achievements, and providing an environment that fosters artistic talent. Such initiatives also aim to strengthen students’ presence in the visual arts scene, refine their artistic abilities, and promote a spirit of initiative and experimentation.
The “Lala” exhibition serves as a platform for artistic experimentation and expression, bringing together painting, printmaking, and sculpture in a unified creative experience. It underscores the importance of student-led artistic initiatives in developing creative skills and opening new horizons for emerging talents in the field of visual arts.
