Under the slogan “Love and Peace,” the University of Baghdad Student Activities Department organized the University of Baghdad, international Road Race on Sunday, 15th October 2023. The event witnessed significant participation from Iraqi, Arab, and regional universities, with hundreds of students and teachers from various universities in Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, and the Islamic Republic of Iran. The College of Fine Arts at the University of Baghdad achieved notable success during the race, as Dr. Mohammed Jasim, the Chair of the Music Department, secured 2nd place in the Faculty Marathon Race. This accomplishment marks the College of Fine Arts’ first sporting achievement for the academic year 2023-2024.
