Section vision The vision of the Department of Fine Arts is to prepare artists armed with general knowledge in a scientific and artistic manner in thinking and analysis to serve the country and the requirements of the comprehensive national development process by expanding and diversifying postgraduate studies and technical specializations in the light of national construction plans and their requirements in achieving a balanced development between the progress of the arts in theory and practice.

The mission of the scientific department is based on refining the desire and talent of the student and providing him with scientific knowledge, and creating a spirit of innovation in him during his studies and even after his graduation through workshops and seminars and supporting talented students within the plastic arts space within the Iraqi art scene by encouraging artistic expertise that helps in its development and growth. The department’s message lies in encouraging creative energies and highlighting them through festivals and plastic exhibitions that the department holds every year, which are the starting point for students to display their artistic and aesthetic productions.
