First: the TV studio

The television studio in the Department of Cinematic and Television Arts, and through the expertise of the faculty members, allows students to be taught applied skills in the fields of television broadcasting and directing. It is an academic laboratory that opens many areas to enhance theoretical aspects with applied skills. For the following areas:

1- TV directing.

2- The montage on the photo mixer (the broken).

3- Photography skills and distribution of cameras.

5- Aesthetics of lighting distribution.

6- The art of diction and television presentation skills

Mixer Section (Visual Mixer)

The television studio within the Department of Cinematic and Television Arts, guided by the expertise of faculty members, enables students to learn practical skills in television broadcasting and directing. Serving as an academic lab, it opens various opportunities to enhance theoretical knowledge with practical skills, making it one of the most important labs for preparing students academically for careers in media and broadcasting. The studio supports student training in the following areas:

  1. Television directing.
  2. Editing on the visual mixer.
  3. Camera operation skills and camera placement.

Lighting Aesthetics
Television Studio – Lighting Section

The Department of Cinematic and Television Arts studio is equipped with a range of versatile lighting devices that allow students to learn how to arrange lighting for various talk shows. In addition, students are trained to use reflectors and control the color intensity and brightness levels through the dimmer device.

Art of Speech and Television Presentation Skills

Television Studio – Talk Show Programs

The studio provides students with the opportunity to learn the art of speech and professional program presentation. It includes training on camera and microphone placement and handling through a live, simulated program, enhancing students’ speaking and dialogue skills. This experience equips students for entry into the job market.

3D Screening Hall
3D Film Screening Lab

This lab provides students with the opportunity to watch and analyze films recorded in 3D through a specialized screen equipped with polarized 3D glasses. It also enables the screening of films and dramatic works that utilize virtual reality, allowing students to view and analyze them to gain deeper insights into 3D display technologies.
