Pioneers Theatre.
The Pioneers Theater is one of the most important theatrical laboratories at the level of Iraqi universities. Throughout the academic year, a large number of training and acting performances are held for undergraduate and postgraduate students. The annual festival for fourth-stage students’ projects is also held in it. The faculty members train students in the following skills:
1- Theatrical directing and mezzanine
2- Theatrical techniques
3- Acting and theatrical recitation
4- Lighting, decoration and sound
Theatrical rehearsals workshop laboratory
It is located in the building of the Department of Performing Arts, in which students are taught the skills of creating make-up and theatrical costumes, as well as teaching students the basics of dealing with text and embodying it on stage, and students do many exercises related to theatrical fitness and acquiring professional skills
