Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Fine Arts, and in the presence of the Academic Assistant, Dr. Rajaa Saadi Lafta, and Dr. Basim Al-Ghubban, the head of the counseling unit at the college, the counseling unit at the college, in collaboration with the General Directorate for Drug Control and Psychotropic Substances in the Ministry of Interior, organized a seminar titled “A Drug-Free Iraq”. The seminar was attended by many specialized officers from the directorate. It covered several topics, including guidance aimed at increasing awareness among college students, addressing the dangers of drugs and addiction, emphasizing the importance of rehabilitation institutions for drug users, and discussing the deterrent laws aimed at protecting society from this scourge. The workshop aims to raise awareness among students and create sustainable awareness to protect our students from the dangers of drugs.
